Guru Rinpoche's Blissful Dakini Land
PILGRIMAGE TO PEMAKO
with Chödpa Lama Rinpoche
ABOUT PEMAKO

" Just hearing about the great blissful Buddha realm of Pemako opens the path to enlightenment; there is no need to mention the benefit of actually going there… "

— Guru Rinpoche
BEYUL OF PEMAKO
This year pilgrimage take place in the most extraordinary place of the world, the most sought-after, revered and mysterious of all the hidden lands, The Beyul of Pemako, the "hidden land shaped in the form of a lotus", which is the physical form of Vajravarahi, known in Tibetan as Dorje Pagmo.

Ancient tibetan texts describe it's location as the region that covers South Tibet and Arunachal Pradesh in India.

The Tsangpo River (Brahmaputra in India) is said to be the spine of Dorje Pagmo and the surrounding remote mountains form other parts of her body. The lower part of her body lies in Yangsang or the innermost Pemako, which is the Upper Siang region of Arunachal Pradesh.

The most beautiful of which are the peaks of Namcha Barwa and Gyala Pelri which are her breasts.

Upper Siang District in Arunachal Pradesh is still very much hidden from the world, here lies four of Pemako's very sacred sites which are believed to confer liberation to those who seek and reach them.

The pilgrimage starts at the Himalayan town of Tuting which is the last Indian motorable town before the border with Tibet. From here, the hike will go through tribal villages until it's reach Devakota Mountain, The Heart of The Lotus Flower.
Devakota mountain is the clear-light realm of dakinis and deities of the Mother Tantra …It is the dwelling place of Chakrasamvara with his 725 accompanying deities….Those of fortune who merely come to this place will experience spontaneous realization. By practising meditation here one can in this lifetime attain perfect Buddhahood, or upon reaching the bardo state can attain the Sambhoghaya, the Enjoyment Body of complete enlightenment.

For whoever makes one complete circumambulation of Devakotta Mountain the door to all lower rebirths will be closed..

A single outer circumambulation of this holy place will bring ten million siddhis while making thirteen circumambulations in one day will lead one direct to the transcendent state, beyond distinction of virtue and non-virtue. All explained herein is the infallible truth.
